Postponement of International Conference on Responsible Tourism and Hospitality (ICRTH2020)

Subject: Postponement of International Conference on Responsible Tourism and Hospitality

Dear Esteemed Speakers, Delegates, Sponsors and Friends,

Greetings.

With regard to the current outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) and its continual spreading in different countries and regions, we wish to inform you that the International Conference on Responsible Tourism and Hospitality (ICRTH2020), which was initially scheduled on 12-14 August 2020 in Kuching, will be postponed to July 2021. This decision comes in light of the uncertainty in the rapidly evolving situation of the COVID-19 in the coming months and its impact on travellers (i.e. conference speakers, sponsors, delegates and guests). It has thus been decided that it is most appropriate that the conference be postponed.

We deeply regret any inconveniences as a result of this postponement but the safety and health of our conference speakers, delegates, sponsors and friends is our utmost priority. We wish for you to still consider joining and/or supporting this conference in 2021. We will also keep you posted on all updates about the conference.

Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you.

Kind regards

Dr. Hiram Ting
Chair of ICRTH2020 and on behalf of the Organizing Committee
Associate Professor, UCSI University Sarawak Campus, MalaysiaChairman, Sarawak Research Society
