Sarawak Research Society (SRS) is a non-profit making and scholarly body in Sarawak. It is founded by Prof Dr Ernest Cyril de Run and Dr Hiram Ting, and was registered as a society in February 2015. SRS is committed to research that advances knowledge and makes practical contribution to management practice, community well-being and/or policy development in Sarawak. SRS aims to provide academics, researchers and practitioners a platform to interact and move forward. It also aims to afford budding researchers and managers opportunities to network with academics and practitioners in their areas. SRS seeks to improve the quality of research in the state and create an avenue for inter-disciplinary studies so as to bring together researchers and practitioners from various disciplines and industries for the betterment of the society. Membership is open throughout the year. Information pertaining to SRS activities is also posted on its Facebook group.
