The 4th International Conference on Responsible Tourism and Hospitality (ICRTH) 2024 is an academic and professional event that aims to advance the discourse on responsible tourism for sustainable development.
Since its inception in 2021, ICRTH has evolved from a virtual event into a well-recognized hybrid platform, gathering delegates from ministries, UNWTO, PATA, academia, and the tourism industry.
ICRTH 2024 will be co-organised by Sarawak Research Society (Malaysia) and Responsible Borneo. This year’s conference will be held from 7 – 11 August 2024 at Theatre Hotel, Kuching, Malaysia.
Themed “Tourism and Peace: Promote Peaceful and Inclusive Societies for Sustainable Development”, the conference will highlight the role of responsible tourism in fostering peace, social inclusivity, and long-term sustainability.
ICRTH 2024 brings together tourism and hospitality stakeholders — including public sectors, private organizations, academic institutions, associations, and local communities — to share knowledge, network, and collaborate toward a shared goal of responsible tourism.
